How do you respond when the dev bros assume you're part of the community and thus you'll be doing marketing for free, because they can't see anything that isn't done in lines of code?

This made me smile! 
I’d say, “Sure, code builds the product, but marketing is what gets people to actually use it!" and then remind that while I love contributing to the community, professional marketing takes skill, time, and coffee!!
