I went because I didn't go to any of the other ones (might have been one or two). So decided as the school year is over in 6 weeks to show my face. 

Agenda:
1. Preferences for next year's school trip
2. Kid's behavior

it was at 3:15pm. most parents don't have flexible jobs so can't make it

Were they required?

In the past, as a teacher, I really hated them. They could have all been a quick phone call or an email.

I wasn't sure if parents hated them just as much as I did.

The parents who NEEDED to be there, would never show; and the ones who showed, didn't need to be there.
