Most communist countries have strict immigration restrictions.

Also people can be communist and it’s not their top-of-mind issue.  For instance I don’t love the politics of Toronto but it’s close to friends and family, which is more important to me (which is why I moved here from Montreal, whose politics I prefer).

… I want to say values but that’s a bit harsh for the context. In most cases people on Farcaster are privileged enough that political ideology doesn’t impact them.
