I can’t believe I made it. 26.6km trail race, 4:83km/h pace As my heart rate sensor didn’t work, I had to pay more attention to my physical symptoms of exhaustion. Uphills remain a struggle for me. It rained heavily for 10 minutes, luckily we were just before one of the food stations. Then it was wet & slippery. And downhill. Someone none of us fell. We also missed the bus home by 30min. Annoyed as we paid for the transfer. My friend and I decided that for races above 20km we need to train more and with kids this is close to impossible.
