I quit IG, Twitter & Facebook in 2017. I did so to prioritize being an interesting person in the world rather than curating an interesting personae. Now when I see social media it gives me a visceral reaction… like “bro, that’s personal” it actually creeps me out to see grown men on social media now.

Yep. It broke my fast… (and/or streak..) but my rationale is that I’m a sucker for getting my name as a handle (you can Cash app me tips at $Jayce) and I’ve grown into a version of myself that can have a healthy relationship with the tool. Plus the community is small and in a focused niche.. so c’est la vie.
