Woke up today remembering the time when an onslaught of school specific meme templates forced my military college to hold an assembly to tell us to stop making memes But the 4-Star General in charge of the school did know wtf that meant and spent 45 minutes shouting about “those god damn ME ME’s” 😩🤌

Do you have a great military school story of someone resisting authority — get out through the ringer and still doesn’t get broken (maybe even in their own subtle way) Small example of this was when you figured out different ways to say ‘Sir’

The entire “secret goal” of the 1st year training of VMI is to make the freshmen come together as a class in rebellion against upperclassmen cadre - this used to manifest via a “Rat Riot” where a freshmen mob would go into cadre rooms (no locks in barracks) and throw bedrolls/clothes into the courtyards hahaha
