As much as you want to blame Nicolas Jackson, he isn't the issue in Chelsea's attack. He's doing more than what's needed from a forward but the issue is the lack of proper competition and backup for his role.

Apart from Isak and Jackson, no other forward is creating that Cole Palmer goal yesterday nor driving up to hit the post later in the game. 

That said, Chelsea need a forward who can come in and compete with Jackson. They need a striker who just bullies the defenders and just hangs around the box for the ball to come to his feet.

Sancho, Neto and Madueke will get a ton of crosses in, but Jackson isn't the one for them. That's where Chelsea need a profile like Sesko or even Delap.
