I started using Obsidian on iPhone a month ago during travels. And quickly realized it suits me very well, I created A LOT. Strangely it seemed to make my travel companion a lot calmer too, which might be simply because I wasn’t on my laptop. See, it looks like I’m on social media “just like everyone else”. Because on this trip we were supposed to relax and not work. To me it like relaxing and working at the same time, perfect combo.

So far so good. But then a few days ago the whole dataset got corrupted. So now I’m no longer relaxed at all. Any advice? Help!

Oh wow! I’m sorry to hear that :/ Hmm, a few things to check to troubleshoot: Where are your files stored? If local or cloud, can you roll back your file history to the day before the corruption? On Macs, there’s a way to restore previous versions of files, so you might be able to do that? Did any other part of your system get corrupted? I’ve had individual notes lose data, but not be corrupted, which I was able to recover with this process: https://wanderloots.xyz/digital-garden/tutorials/how-to-restore-obsidian-files-mac/
