With each walk along the shore, I’m on the lookout for unique items: sea glass, driftwood, shells, and other beach treasures that have been shaped by the tides. Sometimes it’s a small, colorful piece of glass worn smooth by the ocean; other times, it’s a beautifully patterned shell or a mysterious item that has washed ashore from an unknown place.

In addition to natural finds, I also keep an eye out for man-made objects that have washed ashore. Beachcombing can sometimes lead to unexpected surprises, like antique coins or vintage bottle caps. These items, often worn by time and the elements, provide a glimpse into the past and spark my imagination about the stories they hold. I often think about where they came from and the journeys they took before ending up on the beach.
