There should be a name for these category error type of interactions that I’ve seen a billion times over Reddit as well.

Me: snow is white

Then: you’re wrong! It’s very obviously cold

This is a double-bind entrapment. It's when my mother gifts me a blue tie and a red tie for my birthday. I put on the red one. 

She says, " Don't you like the blue one?"

Can't have a fair response 😕.
