Democrats are going after the federal tax perks crypto investors flock to Puerto Rico to exploit. 

Plenty of Puerto Ricans I know hate crypto transplants for driving up housing prices and refusing to learn Spanish. 

But crypto investors also bring money into the impoverished island.

PR is a gilded cage lol

But short of PR becoming a state, how can IRS close this loophole? "No taxation without representation" and all that jazz? Seems destined to be thrown out in court

Curious how they’ll adjust incentives. The original idea was to help Puerto Rico recover, not price out locals
