Poland is America's big opportunity to prove it can build reactors abroad again and sell its technology overseas before China joins Russia in the export game. But Poland is the just "58% ready" to start construction on its Westinghouse power plant, per this new report: https://www.nucnet.org/news/poland-58-ready-for-nuclear-construction-as-negotiations-continue-on-key-epc-contract-3-3-2025 Meanwhile, my sources on the ground there say the country is so distraught over Trump's embrace of Russia, the Poles' mortal enemy, that many are having second thoughts over the decision to go with American nuclear technology in the first place. Going with the U.S. came at a higher price, but it was part of cementing a strategic alliance that they tell me no longer feels like the safe bet it once did.

That hasn’t dampened Polish companies’ support for nuclear power. Over 70% of firms surveyed say they have experience that can lend itself to nuclear projects. https://www.world-nuclear-news.org/articles/polish-companies-keen-to-participate-in-nuclear-projects
