Interesting stat from WSJ today, number of Americans making "economic hardship" withdrawals from 401k accounts surging

Tragic in that you pay a lot in taxes on this withdrawals — and lose even more in future gains.

I’ve seen it encouraged by content creators before and recognize it’s dangerous, but also potentially lucrative.

I'm sure it's many people's last resort... which is why it's such a good metric.
