My latest piece for Canary Media is out. Hyundai's $6 billion investment in "low-carbon" steel in Louisiana is set to use natural gas, but experts say converting to green hydrogen would be pretty straightforward. And either way, the steel is likely to boost the Korean carmaker's EV production. Let me know what you think! https://www.canarymedia.com/articles/green-steel/hyundai-low-carbon-steel-louisiana

Interesting First … where would they find green hydrogen if Hyundai was choosing that route ? Not surprised that all this was politically highjacked and linked to tariff wars .

Louisanian here, Louisiana is to gas dependent in terms of economy, and even the optics of not choosing gas would be a cardinal sin for a Louisiana governor, plus they don't care about cancer alley, I wish more people talked about it
