Fascinating. I mean, look, I always thought this of Trump's posting too -- FDR pioneered the fireside chat model and it's crazy to me that most politicians have run away from it, maybe because the model Obama set was of someone so polished that became the standard.

I can't see a world in which I'd ever vote for Newsom (in anything), but I did listen to the first ep of his pod and I will listen to this one so that's a win of some sort.
