I almost got blown up for the United States while in Afghanistan. I think about this a lot as I watch how the government treats our allies and our citizens these days. I know this piece of media has an agenda (like every other piece of media) and that Farcasters like to stay in their cozy bubble, but between the plain clothes abductions, the admin attacking Harvard’s tax exempt status, and the goofy ass supervillain gilding of the Oval Office I seriously urge you to consider the fact that we might be in for a bad time pretty soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN1oBfg0fwI&ab_channel=TheEzraKleinShow

First off, thank you for your service. This was a great piece, and I'm glad you shared it. It's an opinion piece, so yes, it has an agenda, but I think it's important to highlight that this is a professional, serious reporter sharing his opinions and not just some run of the mill propaganda or rant from someone without the expertise to decipher the bigger picture. Certain arguments and opinions are more worthy of faster trust than others. Ezra Klein is worth giving that benefit of doubt.

Full agree— I’ve been pacing off Ezra’s messaging to counteract some of the hysteric posting energy and it was sobering to see this today
