oh yeah, I can see that but maybe tipping some people that you want to stick around and keep trying to grow and not abandon the platform shouldn't hurt too much.

Do we want people to use the platform or not? Onboarding people is a lot of work, and I don't get paid for it. I've been actively trying to earn an allowance in /farther to give those people a reason to stay and to learn about decentralized social media. I minted some art to help get to 100k and now it's not even being shown on the feed. It's very discouraging, and definitely a slap in the face for trying to promote the project. /louder

I've been explaining $farther to friends while trying to earn an allowance, but now my casts are being hidden in the /farther channel. Very frustrating.

Being tipped *definitely* encouraged me to stick around.  Helped me immediately see how I could fit in and do well here - I can create good content.  I've onboarded a couple people so far, and I basically am "sponsoring" them by giving them a portion of my Moxie earned each day so they can start to get in on Fan Tokens while they get a grasp of this place.
