The “Numbers Go Up” game or intentional fraud?

A story about fake devs, forgotten projects launched with @clanker, @proxystudio.eth and how someone may be making thousands of dollars monthly on Farcaster using fake accounts

I wonder if we can trace $TICKER and $BARKBARK to any of this? 

For those who don’t know:

- The ticker was $TICKER was launched on Party DAO last year. The project was promoted by proxy and rugged. Proxy claimed the dev was French and disappeared with the money.

- $BARKBARK by @tokengod was also promoted by proxy and rugged. The account appeared out of nowhere, claimed it was going to burn the trading fees, then disappeared.

proxy promoted ticker?

if i recollect correctly, zachxbt traced ticker to a french dev and even shared the phone number/location of that person

you probably don’t think about liquidity enough // it is what it is  // build value, not valuation

- proxy intro’d me to “ticker” who wanted to launch a memecoin using Party crowdfunding
- ticker created the party, proxy promoted it too (so did i, i thought it was legit)
- the party raised millions of dollars as an LP for $TICKER
- ticker then market dumped most of the supply on this chart, took the money and ran
- “ticker” said it wasn’t him, and was just the “French dev” he hired and trusted with the token supply
- ticker disappeared forever

proxy said the dev was french. i wish there was an ai tool that could sort through all the wallets that @nastya mentioned. it’s a big pile of cold spaghetti

actually raises more questions

1. who the fvck would send an anon internet “friend” 2 million dollars to give away to other people? is someone really that stupid? 

2. tg, x, phone, and location can all be spoofed and run simultaneously. scammers do this when they’re using multiple wallets w/ different social media accounts. how do we know this wasn’t another proxy alt?
