How to do well on social media:

Be interesting.

It's the attention economy.

If you can't grab their attention, you're screwed.

What people call "shadowbanning" is more often just that they're boring.

Be interesting and you'll get seen.

It's interesting to me how many people struggle to be seen on here. At the end of the day, it's still social media. People aren't going to know you exist unless you start replying to casts and creating content.

Replying especially is a big one.  A lot of creators get so focused on their own posts they forget to be present for community, too.
