no one asked but here’s my travel planning outline 

1. where + when

2. hotel research (my fav)- if long trip spilt nights in diff neighborhoods

3. slow mornings ☕️ 

4. one “major” activity (something touristy) and one “minor” activity (something for locals) per day 

5. always make dinner reservations

I always start by emailing whatever hotel I’m staying at— guest services/ concierges always have up to date lists of restaurants + activities! 

Then I’d go to recommendations from friends + Google search & pick a few of the overlapping ones. Would also keep location in mind- points for walkable neighborhoods etc

Honestly both can be incredible 

Like last summer I went to Paris and did the boat on the seine thing which was a BLAST 

and later that night went out with my friend who lives there / around le Marais which was also so fun
