When curating a show or booth at the art fair, I strive to create a program that I, as a collector, would be excited to see. My exhibitions often feature exclusive works that have never been displayed before. However, there are certain exceptional pieces, like “Bittercoin” from 2016 by Martin Nadal & Cesar Escudero, that I feel compelled to showcase again, alongside artists who hold a special place in my heart.
Today, I received feedback during Berlin Art Week that resonated with me: “Kate, you are brave, you bring to present a program that “stands out” from the rest of the fair and embraces a certain level of risk?!”
I firmly believe that the art I showcase is, and will be, among the most significant of our generation, and I am truly grateful to be surrounded by artists and collectors like you.
