In Prague they even opened special walls to protect the city from the river!

My beergarden is flooded. :(( But they transported the entire building - I didn't know that was possible - up to the street so the kitchen and all is safe haha

wooow…this is crazy! Does it happen often in Germany? In Prague they had last time in 2010 or something like that

Actually I remember we had this last year too, Bavaria was hit too. Here also we had some of the high water levels and flooded foodpaths, but it didn't really go as far as flooding basements or streets, largely just the areas right by the river. One thing tho, sunsets are extra stunning when there's so much water - so am hoping for sunny days
