This is a great question. From experience, when you are building muscle, you don't necessarily need to sweat too much.
Sweating a lot (at shower level 😅), usually happens when your heart rate goes faster, i.e. doing cardio, running, jogging, cycling, etc.
You could alternate between strength training, cardio and a mix.
With cardio, if you don't want to sweat that much, but still want a productive workout, try custom workouts with a machine and focus on getting into specific training zones (there are 5 zones). If you stay in zone 3 for longer, you might sweat less and have a productive cardio workout without inducing excessive sweating 1 reply
