I feel like I've stepped into a bustling and passionate community, didn't expect such a nice welcome. I should start with my introduction so that you people know where I come from, at least. I am a journalist. I was born in Pakistan and currently live in New York. I usually cover Pakistani politics and it's relationship with US foreign policy.

For the past two and a half years I have been covering the military coup in Pakistan that was backed by the Biden admin. The coup unleashed a new era of human rights violations in the country because Biden admin has specific foreign policy goals for the country.

Not in the short run, but there is always hope. As a Pakistani who has lived most of his life in Pakistan, I see so much potential in the country but the it needs some structural changes if it is to survive for 100 more years.

Only after "system" it out of clutches of army and that is not easy. Anything that looks positive but army control is there is not positive but an illusion.
