unrelated to the content itself but have you found that posting articles on X is positive for engagement? better than posting link to external piece or better than a thread?

I did for a piece I did back in January (pinned on my X profile).  Not so much on this one lol, but not sure if thats b/c of the content or if they've changed the engagement algo. 

I generally like the UX of articles both as a writer and reader.
