I'm starting to dig into sports x web3 as a potential investing thesis. Rationale: 

(1) Dapper + Sorare two of the most successful web3 projects

(2) legalization of NIL and gambling create new market forces that web3 may creatively solve

(3) team ownership a real use case for DAOs with interesting ripple effects

Agree. Lots of interesting vectors.

I think the most interesting is market formations around fan communities (not convinced on the web3-powered gambling angle atm)

For example, being able to buy social tokens of the NY Giants that fans could hold/buy/sell and potentially pass down to generations feels much more meaningful than the BS merchandise, etc they buy now that has limited upside.
