ok, so i did the heavy lifting and finished all 3 books of the 3-body problem so you don't have to. the physics-related details are astounding, mindblowing at times. yet, the characters are so flat. 1000+ pages and there's only one who exhibits something you might - if you're generous - call character development.

totally forgot about him (can't remember if he was featured in the 3rd book). but yeah, he was the best character.

Still need to read book 3, so I hope he makes an appearance! Agree on the rest though, book 2 was a struggle with Luo Ji as the main protagonist ๐Ÿ˜‚

i mean it's still a solid reading, but i don't get the hype. dune or ender are so much more enjoyable for me. or hail mary, which in some aspects is very similar to 3bp, just humble in scope and focused. and it shows.
