Are you thinking food distribution or redistribution? Either way, giving/helping is never objective. That's okay, just be real. It is the type of scenario I think could really benefit from a DAO. It forces you to be clear about assumptions and biases from the start.

Redistribution is important, but I’m referring to primary distribution — specifically in the United States. We paradoxically have agricultural surpluses yet still have widespread hunger. I know the existing Food Bank model quite well, but it’s archaic, inefficient, and devoid of transparency.
