If you were to host a Congressional hearing on Digital Identity, what witnesses categories would you want there? A few starting possibilities: - ID Verifier? - Mobile Drivers License? - ZKP expert? - Electronic Frontier Foundation? What should the themes be? How much would you focus on crypto, if at all?

As an aside the "Mobile Drivers License" category scares me, because I believe there is precedent in CA that if digital drivers license is shared with a police officer they could than legally access other data on the phone. Believe it came up with Spruce working with CA on digital drivers license.

If that's the case, would love to see conversation about how certain laws and precedent might also have to be established in this new frontier of digital identity and how citizens can still maintain their rights even when difficult situations arise like the one stated above.

I believe it's only if you hand them an unlocked phone with the digital drivers license they could than proceed to access other parts of the phone without needing any other precedent, but still scary none-the-less.
