If you were to host a Congressional hearing on Digital Identity, what witnesses categories would you want there? A few starting possibilities: - ID Verifier? - Mobile Drivers License? - ZKP expert? - Electronic Frontier Foundation? What should the themes be? How much would you focus on crypto, if at all?

Having someone from the W3C working group for decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials could be useful? It's might be too technical but gives a good sense of how "Digital Identity" would work in terms of a network trust-worthy data.

As an aside the "Mobile Drivers License" category scares me, because I believe there is precedent in CA that if digital drivers license is shared with a police officer they could than legally access other data on the phone. Believe it came up with Spruce working with CA on digital drivers license.
