Crypto is buzzing with big media, influencers, and 'cabals', shaping the narrative across multiple lines. It’s crucial we have truth-seekers in this mix to keep things grounded and real. I'm juggling multiple projects myself, like many others in the space, and I'm all in to see them grow in various ways. 1/👇

But, there’s a big but here... the problem pops up when those with a voice get swept into these 'fake movements’ and flat-out false narratives The latest one is "crypto will be a deciding factor in USA elections." Something that can’t be true, considering 99% of the population doesn’t care about crypto 2/👇

This is just one out of 10+ narratives being pushed today that I think are flat-out false. Anyways, here are some people keeping this place honest and what I like to consume/read/follow across different crypto verticals 👇 Alejandro Cartagena - Onchain art https://x.com/halecar2/status/1789688024814453049 3/👇

I don’t have any knowledge of how much it will impact the elections, but don’t a lot of people in the US own crypto? https://coinweb.com/trends/how-many-americans-own-crypto/

The latest Chopping Block podcast had a great discussion on this narrative. Apparently 40% of Americans hold crypto, meaning it’s not true that 99% don’t care. However, crypto is one of many topics that impact peoples lives, so it’s naive to believe that crypto policy is the deciding factor for how people vote.
