yes, every single time 😅 artblocks offers a pricing guideline to help artists with this. it is helpful, but there are many variables to consider. even though they tried to adjust it to different market conditions, it also led to unsold collections that were (and are) way too expensive for the market

Im curious about why the industry shifted to free mints (which aren’t actually free). Did demand for NFTs decline so hard that the only way to earn is through gas rewards? I’m also unsure about where to mint. We have token standards and promise interoperability, yet things still feel broken/buggy.

Pricing is def difficult, esp in this market. An idea we had was to offer "pay what you can" – where you can set a "suggested price" that is flexible to your collectors budget. That way collectors can go above or below (but not 0) and you don't have to feel pressured to price your art etc perfectly.

If it's a collection, I price based on concept. If the pieces are one-offs I'll price according to recent action or do an auction. Don't have any sizing limits. Where to mint is a matter of using the right tool for the job; I don't think in terms of platforms as I expect to do all the "marketing" myself via social.
