Is there any reason I shouldn’t copy all my old blogs from medium to paragraph?  Any pros/cons to think about?  Don’t really feel like self hosting, but that might change sometime in the future.

Best I can think is fragmenting your audience, which I think this is why any fulltime blogger/writer almost always ends up going the self hosted route.

Problem with self hosting is you don’t get the network traffic from paragraph or medium (in his case)

Totally, and it’s perfect for smaller to medium (pun not intended) sized audiences.

But once a writer reaches sufficient critical mass it’s actually detrimental to their content since they’re not only at the mercy of a platform but it’s designed to link out to other writers.
