I am pretty sure this is a version of the principal agent problem.

Any of the self serving reputation mechanisms break down with the infiltration of a single malicious actor.

You are effectively saying that there is a condition for a disease to spread within the system.

We rather need credible neutrality instead.

A better version of this already exists currently, just interact and follow your non power badge friends as you would normally :)

Would 100% support this as it's a great way of getting non PB profiles seen by others. As a non PB holder you start to feel invisible despite people recommending you. Community voices matter a lot in these kinds of trust building metrics.
