Hot take but I think "utility NFTs" are somewhat dead.

Minting something is a social signal that you like it - and I don't think it's feasible for mints to come with extra perks at scale.

You don't get utility for holding a lot of a token - why should for holding an NFT?

I love you but my god I have the exact opposite view. Tokens are data first. The more data gets used the more value accrues. Useless data is worth less.

We’ve been minting data with virtually no apps to use that data. That’s backwards. We should be creating the apps first which store the data as NFTs & use them.
