Honest question for podcasters out there, I listen to a lot of pods, never paid for one. If I can watch/listen to your podcast for free on YT or Spotify, why would I mint it or own your token to get access? My guess is distribution, but also that the number of people willing to routinely pay for podcast content is small. Am I right? wrong? Change my mind

NFTs are app data. I’m 100% with you that existing reasons are only for a small set of people. The real reason will be that you can use the pods in newer, better, onchain apps. Right now the biggest apps you can use them in are wallets, marketplaces, maybe a music/audio player. Not very compelling. New apps with new possibilities will make it compelling. And my prediction is most minting will be free or close to free and mostly paid for by the app.
