This week we built batched mint-with-rewards transactions and sponsored reward claims on /moshicam. This addresses a key friction point for Smart Wallet adoption: needing to fund it first to use it. Now you can open Moshicam, create a smart wallet, create a photo for free (no gas), and claim collector earnings for free (no gas). You now have eth in your wallet that you can use with any smart wallet enabled app! Onboarding should happen simply via using the app, without extra “crypto onboarding” steps. We think this is especially impactful for first time crypto users who would need someone to send them eth (or find a fiat onramp) to get started - forcing them to think about addresses, networks, etc that are distractions from what they’re actually trying to do: try the app.

This is a killer feature. I was surprised i can use the app without topping up the wallet first. Smooth UX and one hurdle less than it usually takes. Some day the industry will nail it down, and Moshicam is a great example of progress in the space
