Starknet is such a flop compared to funding and expectations. And I do not talk about the token - though the airdrop seems like a good time to reflect on it. Little users, little activity. Unnecessary friction for devs. It looks like they got most of the things wrong. Change my mind?

If Remco says it is impressive that I take it as a bit of a counter to what I wrote^^ https://x.com/recmo/status/1760590379336822788?s=46

A lot of the projects seem to be focused on onchain gaming and none of the major games have released yet when these hit mainnet i think youll start to see a lot more activity on starknet

Better wallet, no hick-up during airdrop, actually doing something innovative rather than building copy of EVM chain, zk is proven to be more secure and scale compare to optimistic roll ups. Word you’re looking for could be still early in development phase

Community supports Layer 2s that are vocally Ethereum aligned Part of reason for success of Optimism, Arbitrum Starknet, from what I've seen, are not full throated in their Ethereum alignment

Definitely hard to be excited about the future when most of the devs are in EVM. The other ZKrollups understood that. On the other hand all it takes is one major "breakout app" when talking about mainstream adoption.
