was worth it. now i just don’t partake in any taxing sports that involve throwing/swinging. it’s a great reason to be relatively lazy for a while.

this is what i was told around 14 that i would should have surgery to basically staple the muscles around my shoulder to prevent dislocation. i opted against this and instead continued playing sports with a solid amount of pain for a while. my shoulders essentially partially dislocated on every throw or swing.

yup! it’s genetics and there’s a spectrum of hyper mobility from what i understand. severe cases are where people’s joints will dislocate without control. ive met someone who has that and it’s pretty rough. then there’s most of us who have some degree of it.

hypermobile team! can you bend your thumb down to your wrist? i had a friend who could do this and was always so jealous. my ankles are also hypermobile and whenever i roll them, they just come right back good as now lol

played in my first poker tourney and couldn’t be happier. made the final table, got ham pilled, and played with a friendly bunch of people. great way to end a monday. will definitely be back for more (hopefully with better luck).
