i think it’s a double edged sword here. yes, can really jump start creating a community but it’s also harder to filter out the mercenaries / profiteers and retain people when vibes / price decline

I'd actually say it's harder to filter out the mercenaries/profiteers in centralized communities 

see every DAO treasury in the industry constantly being raided by grifters

memecoins speedrun filtering these people out because you can only benefit if the coin benefits

id say dao treasury grifters = influencer / kol pumpers 

both end up draining vibes / liquidity from each community. 

but maybe that’s a good thing? it’s something that tests the strength of community and well, if it doesn’t survive, it doesn’t survive

speed run creation and destruction

yes the influencer cabal can be destructive, but memecoin influencer/KOL power degrades naturally because once they sell they have no more sway

centralized projects have permanent power structures and grifters can keep going back to the well via corruption 

as you said, it's about speedrunning through these negative community members
