there definitely are nuances, i agree with you.

…..at the same time, I think something like a helmet or other precautions for low probability but high consequence outcomes is safe and proper.  You have one life….and one skull….and even if a low probability….better to teach protection over death. At least that’s my take.

Interesting and I totally agree that kids need to be kids and learn how to take risk. I live in an area where kids go off and play at friends kisses without parent knowing where they are or watching at all times…
