My email habits are quickly converging to the same as physical mail: just bills and advertisements, some loose admin that requires email. 

Then thousands of calendar invites. Very strange to see the transition as email plays out the same story as physical media.

I wonder if there's something generational about young teams not wanting to use yesterday's tech

My email is mostly full of adverts. I used email for communicating with people and businesses, and this communication has shifted to text/social and happens on apps. I even pay bills through app and bill reminders are sent by text.
