my sister took a pretty conventional path to success (go to school, get MBA, pay off debt, work at a fortune 100) after helping her move into a downtown Chicago apt (view below) I can’t help but feel a pull toward a more traditional approach at life, rather than the nomadic/self-employed journey i am currently on

imagine working for someone else, forever it’s not actually that, really but the mental torment of accepting that and giving up on your dreams—that doesn’t seem like something you could live with

but yeah the idea of working for other people is not something that really aligns with me. that’s the battle
