This is the beginning of Europe's separation and independence from U.S. policies! Britain and France had prepared for this long ago. In the future, we’ll see all European countries breaking away from the U.S. and choosing their own path. https://www.geopoliticalmonitor.com/is-europe-ready-for-trump-2-0-and-the-geopolitics-of-realpolitik/

europe could be slow but china is not, if there is an opportunity for them to reactivate some markets and take over others.. they will move fast enough.. to make it happen and, yeah, europe cannot win military but politicaly and economicaly, absolutely yeah just choosing to become a neutral actor would break the board.. and move all pieces.. in a very real disruptive way.. removing the cost of funding wars like ukraine, getting freedom to choose on other conflicts like Palestine and giving europe economy some good profits from being in an open market instead forced to accept bad deals with allies (like gas).. and those are both political and economical victories.. anyway, europe will never play this wildcard.. europe has their own ways.. and this is why.. europe will be struggling next years.. cut costs and so on.. trump will not last more than 4 years.. this is a short term game

Europe can act completely independently, but it chooses not to—and you're absolutely right about that. Even though Trump’s time in office is short-term, the U.S.’s credibility in Europe has been damaged, and Europe will definitely not play the same role dictated by the U.S. as it did before. The formation of the European Union was based on the idea that by uniting, these countries could become an independent player with their own currency. Although this independence has faded over time, France and the UK have never forgotten this goal. With the current political landscape, this fundamental philosophy— which was weakening— will regain strength, forcing countries to minimize their dependence on the U.S. in order to secure their own interests.
