yeah, that's make sense.. if they are defending another interests and they are getting paid for that.. they may don't need an extra salary.. and probably many lobbies will be interested on that

If someone with an interest in removing regulations is already paying their salary then they may be smart. Think Heritage Foundation, Goldman Sachs and similar. Outside private interests paying them and DOGE making their own expenditure reports smaller than they would be.
