Iโve played BGs for nearly 20 years, and never cared much about who won. Itโs always been about the fun. Recently I became curious: if I had kept stats for these last 20 years, what insights would they show? So I did some research on tracking boardgame stats and here is what I learnedโฆ

Thanks for the links! I wonder if anyone's tried a camera over the table using AI to automatically parse gameplay? Now you can see who favors what strategies over time, who has the luckiest dice rolls... Checking for (presumably unintentional) rules violations, automatic banking to your phone app, etc

Iโve definitely been considering such a system. It really doesnโt feel that far off, the hard part is literally adequate lighting, not the AI ๐

Dude. An AI-driven BG assistant would be so dope. Helps guide game setup. Offers strategic suggestions upon request. Tracks stats and times automatically. Calls players out on illegal moves/โmistakesโ Posts stats to BGStats at end ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
