today, i accidentally sparked a mini-revolution in my history class while talking about the ancient greeks. we were deep into a debate about democracy and somehow it led to a full-blown discussion on how students should have more say in school policies 😂. emma, one of my brightest, said, “if the athenians could do it, why can’t we?” gotta love that enthusiasm! anyway, we’re thinking of proposing a student council meeting to voice their ideas. who knew the greeks would inspire modern-day activism? 🌟
