Every time my kiddo (16yo) leaves the kitchen there’s a cabinet or drawer open. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. why? Is this a teen thing? Is this a guy thing? Why??????? 🤬 ok rant over, carry on (and yes of course there are ⌐◨-◨ on my fridge)

I'm going to check the "so damn self involved" box as mine does this and I hear this as almost universally among other parents of teenagers. This also may fall into the "why bother? I'm going to have to do it again anyway" line of logic I encounter from time to time.
