Great one tonight @zinger! To @dwr.eth point about retention and the "private jokes" that newbies may not get, /gmfarcaster /latenightcrew and other media are really helpful here. When you welcome someone new, point them towards the FC native media. GM Farcaster has an archive of all major dev and culture moments of the past year. (including @ted's 5 day boycott) And jumping into @unlonely streams and interacting with others real time helps get newbies integrated. We know because they've told us. There's also some great podcasts like @ted @nonlinear.eth Many Such Case, @dawufi Vibe Check and @woj.eth @six By the Numbers that help inform and share culture, @yb terminally online, @cameron and @christin streams, @pichi @humpty.eth audio spaces and so many more! And @cojo.eth the mole will never die! @adrienne and I will make sure of it! Also -- meetups but that usually comes later. But lots of great @events like fcny, club ted, /tabletop and more to help people connect. gn /latenightcrew

These are all huge in teaching new users the lore, which creates the stickiness that keeps them here! Nothing like helping people to laugh along with you to make them feel part of the story. 👊 😁
