honestly I wish someone would make FarmVille for farcaster. like literally just FarmVille, no tokens, no bigger vision, just make a game that spreads virally like that.

Big proponent of the "stuff to do" build thesis going on right now for Farcaster. Everything doesn't need to have crypto biult into it, just make this place entertaining and fun. Everything else will work itself out.

Exactly. Stickiness should be the priority and if crypto doesn't add obvious, immediate value then its debt we don't need to put on everything we're building. Also, dilutes the whole value prop to new users who are going to get confused as to what its for. The more succinct that is conveyed, the easier it will be for them to understand, share, and internalize it.

agree, it's obvious to me why farcaster is helpful for growth / reduces steps to use an app, but for most things crypto actually adds friction not reduces.

for example the thing that prompted this was blackbird. why do reward cards need to be onchain?
